About the Event
If you are experiecing overwhelm, grief, survivors guilt or needing to support with the emotions which have arisen from sudden loss, change or a shocking event, then this Full Moon circle immersive is for you.
There are different stages of grief - from
numbness, disbelief, and denial through
anger, shock and guilt to
intense sadness and acceptance.
Of course different people deal with grief in different ways and no one has to respond to all these stages or experience them in any particular order.
All the emotions which are surfacing for you, are natural. And natural emotions are meant to be felt and experienced.
Without the processing of relevant emotions, we become stuck in the trauma of loss, which leads to us being impacted more implicitly.
We live in a society where raging, sickness, and even simple bad luck are somewhat taboo. Just when you’re grieving and need support, understanding and listening ears you might find people avoiding you out of embarrassment, awkwardness or not knowing how to hold space for you.
Recently, Slovenia has experienced the worst flood and landslide event, ever. In any crisis, it is important to pause, drop into the body, regulate the nervous system and hormones, honour the emotions arising, move through the layers of grief - so that we can restore into resilience and have the reserves to rebuild a new beginning.
If we don't stop, pause, grieve and pay attention to the initial shock, we could repress all this emotions and delay the emotional impact. This could turn into Post Traumatic Stress syndrome.
This circle is open to all who have experienced sudden loss and currently struggling with the emotions which have arisen from this experience.
In this 2 hour Grief and Grace Online Circle, we will rebirth through:
- support the nervous system,
- honour the emotional body through conscious movement and embodiment practice,
- lean into spiritual support,
- tap into your resilient spirit,
- receive intuitive guidance,
- strengthen ourselves so we can hold space and support others.
